"Russa Yog is the finest all around workout that I have ever experienced. I have participated in many fitness activities over the past 30 years, weight lifting, running, biking, karate. They all helped in one way or another, but with RussaYog you get it all at once. It is a unique combination of aerobic, anaerobic, balance and flexibility training. I have attended classes for almost three years. Over this time my body has recovered from all of the abuse that I have given it over the years: knees from volleyball, shoulder from tennis, back from where ever. I very highly recommend Russa Yog for people in all stages of physical fitness. You can challenge yourself in many ways at the appropriate level and you will improve quickly."

"I tore my right rotator cuff in 3 places and was told that my condition had a 50% chance of healing without surgery. I decided to take matters into my own hands and went to work researching the best way to facilitate the healing and strengthening of the surrounding joints and tissue. I settled on therabands and this new... yoga called "rope-based yoga" (RussaYog). I began to do 2 Theraband and 2 Rope-based Yoga sessions per week.
"Six months later...Not only was my right shoulder fully healed, but both shoulders were actually stronger than before the injury. Rope -based Yoga (RussaYog) was invaluable in gently and gradually strengthening my shoulder girdles and at the same time, increasing my range of motion.
"Today, I find myself battling the curse of all people who regularly use computers: stooped-forward shoulders. Once again, Rope-based Yoga to the rescue. ... a Rope-based Yoga session will include many movements that pull your shoulders back and up where they belong.
"I depend on these sessions to keep my shoulders in good health, not to mention the rest of my body. If you regularly attend Rope-based Yoga classes, you can expect increased overall strength, a considerably stronger hand grip, better aerobic capacity, and more overall flexibility. On top of that, you will learn how to take full breaths, something that few people do."

"Doing yoga with you (Teresa) and Jasprit is one of the great joys of my life. I have done yoga with many, many teachers -- and enjoyed every one -- but none have the combination of dedication, knowledge and wisdom that you bring to my yoga practice.
From the first time I met Jasprit when he unobtrusively assessed my capabilities and welcomed me to the challenges of rope yoga, I felt energized and validated. The care that you both took with our group of a dozen yogis was outstanding in every way, giving us individual attention and making the class accessible to each of us including our member with only one hand.
Thank you with all my heart. "

"I started RussaYog (rope-based yoga) in April 2004 and have been a steady customer for almost three years. I was already involved in spinning classes and running at
the gym, but rope yoga gave me a chance to do a full workout of both upper and lower body that was not easy to find elsewhere. The use of stretching exercises
and aerobics as part of their regimin made it the perfect workout session for me. At age 64 now, I had to give up running a year ago and appreciate even more the low impact workout that rope yoga provides. It also emphasizes a more relaxed state of mind and body that I find a welcome change from the frenzied work world I am still a part of. I intend to continue rope yoga for the forseeable future."

"What RussaYog has done for me:
-It is the only time in my week that is for me and only me.
-It is the one place where I can concentrate on how to strengthen my mind and body to help me deal with everyday life and stress.
-Having been to this class for just about 4 years (!!), I feel stronger and more limber. More importantly, I'm more calm and I think I've really learned some relaxation and coping skills that help me in all other arenas of my life.
-I honestly can't imagine having gone through without RussaYog the last 4 years!"

"The RussaYog workout is unlike any other form of exercise I have ever experienced. On one hand, you get a physical workout that leaves you feeling toned and stretched; every muscle in your body, down to the smallest muscle, is exercised; you notice these results after your first session. The stairs become a little bit easier to climb; your shopping bags are easier to carry; your posture is more erect. On the other hand, your mind is also exercised. You learn how to distsance yourself from the anxieties of the modern world and to bring yourself to a very deep level of concentration - a necessity when attempting the RussaYog workout. The exercises in concentration easily transfer to work habits outside of RussaYog, and it becomes easier to focus your mind and maintain calmness as you go about your daily life. Lastly, the RussaYog workout revives the spirit - you leave class feeling refreshed, optimistic, and ready for the world. One of the best parts about the RussaYog workout is that anyone can do it, from top athletes to novices. I cannot help but recommend RussaYog to everyone."
